The White Cliffs of Dover

Dover Discovery Awarded £121,000 Revenue Grant Funding from OPE Phase 4

Having been constructed in the late 1980s, much of the Dover Discovery Centre has deteriorated over the years, with many elements of construction reaching end of life. The Dover Discovery Centre Project looks to redevelop the site in such a way that will support the wider regeneration of the town centre, and deliver improved transport interconnectivity between the town centre and commuter hubs HS1 and the Port of Dover.

To support this work, the Dover Discovery Project was awarded £121,000 in revenue grant funding from the One Public Estate Programme’s Phase 4 funding round. The funding will support the master-planning work necessary to bring the site forward.
